The weather is cooling, and the seasons are changing! As summer draws to an end, the excitement, anticipation, and nerves that can only be associated with the back-to-school season begin to build! Are your kids as excited as mine are?

While the start of the school year is filled with so many exciting things, from shopping for new clothes to gathering your supplies, packing your backpack, and meeting your new teacher, there are also a lot of questions floating around. Your younger kids may ask, “will my friends be in my class?” or, “who will my teacher be?” and your older kids may be questioning what options they should consider for college. Meanwhile, as parents, you’re wondering how the first year back to in-person instruction will fare after a year and a half of remote learning, and if you move how will that effect you child’s education. To ensure your family, growing or established, is as prepared as possible for what the year will bring, here are a few resources to help you get connected to your schools as you educate yourself about all your options.

Regardless of where the year may take us, I wish you all a happy and healthy school year!
